"Sean Parren's office aggressively pursued us to the point of harassment in order to get us to switch over. When we finally agreed to, we got all our documents in order, and moved insurance. Less than a month later, they informed us that, due to a photo they had taken from the road (over100ft away), that they would no longer be able to insure us because our roof had damage. They refused to listen when I explained the roof was only 8 years old and NOT damaged.

We brought out a roofer from Georgia Roof Advisors, who concurred with our assessment (see images w. yellow text for his reviews). He stated that the "issues" seem by Seam Parren's were not real issues, and that to quote as a replacement for it would be a waste of money. We sent his phots and assessment to Sean Parren's, and were told that, despite the word of the professional, along with the initial inspection report from out home (less than two years old) stating that there was no damage, they would not insure us unless they received a competed work order for the area in question.

All of this was told to us less than two weeks before our insurance was set to end. The level of incompetence at this branch is unfathomable. The underwriter, who has never worked a day as a roofer in her life, made the call. Christian Jaimes is the Sean Parren representative who misled us with our coverage, and Misty Parramore is te agent he attempted to push us off on. They both refused to take our calls to prove the issues were non-existent.

TLDR:
- Sean Parren offered us a discount to switch, then pulled the rug out from under us a month later and said they wouldn't insure us due to roof issues.
- A roofer from Georgia Roof Advisors said the "issues" they highlighted did not exist, and provided full report/photographic evidence. SP stated they would only insure if we tore up the roof anyways
- They gave us less than two weeks to resolve this issue, and refused to assist in remedying the situation

I cannot recommend enough - avoid this company like the plague."

"I have dealt with this company for over 10 years for the last two months I feel like they are running a scam I went in May and was told I missed my April payment so I was charged over 500 dollars and just today I get a text saying I owe 645 dollars and it because of a missed April payment the same thing I was told last month and I refuse to pay it because I was told once I made the 500 dollar payment that my payment going forward would 368 a month they are scammers and I refuse to pay you over 1100 dollars in two months when my payments are only supposed to be 368 people stay away from this place no one is ever on the same accord ever one tells you something different I plan on reporting them to the better business bureau"

"I joined State Farm through Sean Perren in 2012, expecting an insurance company that was accessible and transparent. I’m sharing this review because, if you want an agency that partners with you, responds promptly, and values customer loyalty, Sean Perren’s State Farm agency was not that experience for me. In 2026, after four years as a customer, I had an unusually difficult year and filed four claims (three were paid): a new roof, a sewage pump leak in our basement, and a water heater leak in our main home. I understand this was a costly year for the insurer; however, before 2026, we had filed only one claim in 14 years across two homes. As expected, we were notified that our policy would be dropped. What was most disappointing was the lack of communication afterward—when I emailed to ask whether we could explore options (such as a higher premium), I received no response even after months and several follow-ups. If you’re looking for an agency that communicates clearly and rewards loyalty, I recommend choosing a different State Farm agency"
